Ultratech Sp. z o.o. implements projects entitled Advanced technologies of producing protective layers protective layers on the surface of gas turbine components under the Programme European Funds European Funds for Modern Economy Programme, Priority I. Support for entrepreneurs, Measure SMART path.
The object of the project is to carry out R&D work on the development by Ultratech Sp. z o.o. advanced processes for producing protective layers on the surface of of gas turbine blades. Three tasks are planned within the project, including industrial research and experimental development.
The project will result in the development of a nationally innovative technology for the VPA aluminising of gas turbine blades, including blades with cooling holes cooling holes
The project will result in power gas turbine blades with cooling holes, covered with a protective layer made by the VPA aluminisation method, characterised by higher heat resistance, reduced thickness of the aluminide layer, reduced environmental friendliness, compared to blades manufactured using current solutions. solutions used today. Adequate protection against oxidation and corrosion of the coated blade and prolonging its service life will contribute to increasing the service life of the entire turbine, thereby reduced operating costs.
